All-on-4 Dental Implants in Manchester

What are all-on-4 dental implants in Manchester?

Do you have many missing teeth? Perhaps you have lots of teeth that are loose or broken? Maybe you have no teeth at all?

Any of these problems can cause embarrassment. You might hide your smile. Perhaps you find it difficult to eat or talk. All-on-4 dental implants are a good solution to overcome all ofthese problems.

All-on-4 dental implants uses just 4 dental implants to support a new arch of teeth to the upper or lower jaw. They can be used to give you a brand-new set of teeth.

The 4 dental implants are made up of titanium posts which are gently implanted into your upper or lower jaw. These posts act as a replacement for your tooth root and once they have settled in and fused to your jawbone, will then support a custom-made bridge containing your new set of bespoke natural looking teeth.

All-on-4 dental implants are often referred to as Teeth in a Day, Same Day Teeth or Same Day Smile and this is because once the dental implants have been inserted to your jawbone, we provide you with a temporary bridge and new set of teeth whilst your custom-made restorations are being made.

Same Day Teeth means you don’t have to wait with gaps in your mouth for your permanent set of teeth to be fitted.

We have treated many patients from Salford Quays, Trafford, Salford, and throughout Manchester for all-on-4 dental implants. All of our patients have been thrilled with the results.

What is the process for All-on-4 Dental Implants At Yor Dental

Free consultation:
At your free consultation, we will listen to your concerns about your teeth and talk to you about the options for dental implants and all-on-4 dental implants.

We will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and may take scans and x-rays of your teeth. If you decide to go ahead with all-on-4 dental implants, a bespoke treatment plan will be made for you.

Dental implant surgery:
Once you decide to go ahead with the treatment, the dental implant surgery will take place at YOR Dental in Salford Quays. We will give you a local anaesthetic to numb your mouth.

Next, 4 dental implants will then be gently placed into your upper or lower jawbone. Once the dental implants have been fitted, you will be given a temporary bridge which supports temporary prosthetic teeth so that you can leave the dental surgery in Salford Quays with no gaps in your mouth.

Healing period:
You may find that your mouth and gums feel sore immediately after dental implant surgery and you might want to eat soft foods for the first day or two. This will soon settle down and is manageable with paracetamol.

We leave your gums to heal for between 2 and 6 months which allows the new all-on-4 dental implants to fuse with your jawbone. This step in the process is vital before we can continue your treatment. During this stage, we will make your bespoke bridge and crowns ready to fit to your dental implants.

Restoration fitting:
Once your healing period is over, you will be invited back to the dental surgery in Salford Quays to have your temporary bridge replaced with your permanent bespoke bridge. This will contain your custom made set of new teeth which have been carefully colour-matched to any natural teeth you have.

It is essential that you take good care of your new set of teeth to prolong their longevity. You will need to brush your new teeth carefully twice a day and floss once a day. We will continue to see you regularly for dental check-ups. Good care and maintenance will ensure that your all-on-4 dental implants last a lifetime.
