What is the process for All-on-4 Dental Implants At Yor Dental
Free consultation:
At your free consultation, we will listen to your concerns about your teeth and talk to you about the options for dental implants and all-on-4 dental implants.
We will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and may take scans and x-rays of your teeth. If you decide to go ahead with all-on-4 dental implants, a bespoke treatment plan will be made for you.
Dental implant surgery:
Once you decide to go ahead with the treatment, the dental implant surgery will take place at YOR Dental in Salford Quays. We will give you a local anaesthetic to numb your mouth.
Next, 4 dental implants will then be gently placed into your upper or lower jawbone. Once the dental implants have been fitted, you will be given a temporary bridge which supports temporary prosthetic teeth so that you can leave the dental surgery in Salford Quays with no gaps in your mouth.
Healing period:
You may find that your mouth and gums feel sore immediately after dental implant surgery and you might want to eat soft foods for the first day or two. This will soon settle down and is manageable with paracetamol.
We leave your gums to heal for between 2 and 6 months which allows the new all-on-4 dental implants to fuse with your jawbone. This step in the process is vital before we can continue your treatment. Restoration fitting:
